Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt Reviews: Scam or Legit?

I ordered extra pads but haven’t needed them yet. The product has good stimulation. I was sore the next day. Enjoying this purchase so far.

I typically workout when I can and I tore something in my arm and I wanted something to help keep what I have been working on and this was disappointing.. changed the units and put everything on .. fits good but belt didn’t do anything.. said move it around to get to a good spot and I tried and full power it did nothing then I pulled it off and got shocked like you would not believe.. the arm bands work on any part of the body abs arms but the pads came off the first time I used them.. thumbs down all the way.. I might try another company and pony up the money .. but never found anything that is good yet..

Item is as described great value and same sensations as the prior higher priced competitive products – Not sure on results yet but it’s a heck of a massage !

The stickiness last only a few days and won’t stick anymore

Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt is a great product. It works as if your doing exercises. Great for when your not as active, or when your busy.

I like that I see ab results. Dislike that it doesn’t stick on its own.

No difference after a week… the idea of replacing gel pads not a good idea

adhesive strips are losing effectiveness but it still works.

Used this Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt to tighten my skin and it worked well at first but then the vibration became weak.

The electronics work. The arm bands are junk – they failed almost immediately. The ab pad works but the gel pads need frequent replacement which is expensive.I don’t recommend.

Was skeptical of it working but with a diet change and use it has improved my ab definition

It is really good I’m starting to see abs on my stomach and I been using it everyday I can and there is a lot of modes for your satisfaction I like to use the last mode but a great purchase but it does not stay sticky for long time but they extra sticky pads

The directions on how to use this are horrible. There are no diagrams for the arm pieces, and it is not very clear on how to apply the gel packs correctly. Also if you happen to get anything on the adhesive areas good luck getting the item off as it messes the unit up. The gel packs have to constantly be replaced, and the ab thing I could not feel. I could feel the arm stimulators but not the ab one and I had it on the highest setting of 15. I suggest buying a stimulator that does not use gel packs.

I used Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt for about ten minutes on my stomach, then came over with a weird nausea and a slight headache. It definitely stimulates your muscles though lol

I liked how strong the pulses are. I’ve owned these by other brands in the past … but none of them feel nearly as effective as this one! I highly recommend it it to anyone trying to add that extra touch to their workout routine!

The product on level 15 barely does anything. Do not waste your time or money on this garbage.

I’ve been looking to slim down and tone my stomach. I found this product and ordered it. I’ve been using the ab stimulator for about a month now and the results are unbeatable. I’ve got everything I paid for, a slimmer stomach with defined abs. I recommend that anyone like me trying to slim down and create definition in the stomach area order this product.

It stimulates the muscles as described. Once it’s placed and secured on the desired location, it is easy to operate the device..

So far I love the product super easy to use and feel it moving mu muscles.

First off the instructions suck. Limited information and print so small I needed a lens to read how to use. It comes with extra pads weather or not they are spare parts or replacement parts it doesn’t say.

My football player son also tried it and with his abs of steel felt it too.

At first the misspellings on the box make the thing seem a little sketchy— However, it’s really easy to set up, good quality, and I could feel my muscles getting firmer the more I used it! It might be a little painful at first, but you get used to it after a while and it actually gets really comfortable. Just try not to put the thing at a higher level than 3 at first, I’d say that’s the highest level that doesn’t feel really bad for the first use.

I don’t dislike anything about the ABS Stimulator. I wish it had a remote it would be quicker and easier to change to the different settings!

This product works great, but you need to buy extra gel pads. You can actually feel the muscles contracting and it is strong. I also bought and used the conductive gel with it.I bought this one for me and a different one for my son. I will review his later.

I have used this product for the last 4-5 weeks. I have seen a noticeable change in my mid-section. i started off on the fat burning mode and have recently switched it to the Muscle strengthening mode. There are 8 modes to select from depending on what you goals are.I have found that you need to keep the pads clean from body oils and sweat, also if you have a hairy belly like mine… you need to just put a shirt on to have the apparatus closer to your skin to work effectively. I was skeptical at first, but the inexpensive price was well worth the investment into my overall health.

This product has sticky gells placed all over to hold devices to the body. None of them had a protective cover,this caused all the devices to get stuck to each other and the pad to stick together making the whole unit useless I paid $49.95 for it and returned unit and was refunded .24 cents not my purchase price. 😒

It’s really flimsy, it doesn’t stick to you and very low impact frequency. I do not see the benefit of this purchase.

You won’t lose fat unless you exercise but it does work out your abs

Just slowly increase the intensity because it can cause your stomach to cramp up if to high work yourself up to it.

Kinda doubtful but started using right before the gym and after 6 weeks can definitely tell the difference

The gel pads come apart while assembly and the shocking is barely enough to feel on the skin. And no muscle twitching. I had it all the way up and kept pressure on it and could barely feel it.

The ab-stim has six contact fingers only 2 still work and 1 of those is barely noticeable.

Arm bands work well but ab section has very faint / light stimulation

The first one I had for a week or so and then the ab unit stopped working, though the arm units were still functioning. The replacement was clearly used when I received it. The box was crushed, had holes and was closed with duct tape. The ab unit was all bent up and the pads were brown and gross.Truly a bad experience.

When it works, it’s awesome. Product came with one non-working controller, but I replaced it with an old one from a different product. I use it every morning and run through each of the modes. A second controller died within two weeks. Adhesion is horrible, but that’s with all the gel pad ones not just this product, so I use rubber bands to hold the arms in place and a velcro workout belt to secure the abs. Absolutely love that it wraps around the waist!!!

This product is not what I expected but I will try to make it useful. I thought the belt was more secure and actually wraps around the waist and the fabric is cheap for the cost. I was expecting more of a canvas feel.

I didn’t realize it’s basically a large tens unit. I use it while walking or doing errands in the house. Pretty soothing and stimulates digestion, but I don’t believe this would give you abs by any means.

Helps relax the muscles and has various setting depending on what u feel is good for you.

This set comes with everything you need to tone up your muscles. The ab piece definitely gives strong electric stimulation, you will definitely feel your muscles flexing while using. I fine that mode number 3, with intensity level 6 to be the most effective. I use this after work out to continue the muscle stimulation. It really is worry and trouble free and I can do my errands after work out and still feel like my muscles are working. Overall I highly recommend!!

Initially, the ab stimulator and the stimulating arm bands worked great. After two uses the ab part of the stimulator died. I tried what the instructions suggested to do and lightly cleaned off the gel pads. It still did not work. I have been using the arm bands to stimulate my abs. The arm bands worked well enough, I even bought replacement gel pads to continue to use them. I tried to fix the ab stimulator by replacing with new gel pads. The ab part of the stimulator still did not work.

Loved how easy it is to use. After my heart surgery it is taking so much work to build back up my overall strength and this makes it so much stronger and better

Gel tabs stick very well without removing body hair when taking off. The units themselves apply the right amount of current to stimulate and tone. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second ab stimulator I have tried. The other one (different brand) died after a week and a half. But at least it had a little bit of power for that week and a half. This thing is just junk. On high, it feels like you have a little vibrator on your stomach. Just got it today, it is going back as soon as possible.

I think this is super effective my abs are much more defined after using. Workouts seem to be tougher the next day too like the belt wears them out I don’t notice as much unless I’m standing and it’s hard to feel the oblique patches working unless extra pressure is applied to them, however I still can feel they worked the next day at the gym. I moved up to the highest setting pretty quickly, but still seeing results so far. The original pads are still working and I’ve used it probably around 14 times. I’ve had to charge them and its pretty easy, batteries could last a little longer but overall threat starter for the price

This thing works much better than I was expecting it to. The different modes and settings make a difference. I use this about every week on top of what I’ve already been doing. The instructions are clear and it’s easy to apply. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Easy to use but they are weak, fully charged and the sides don’t have any shocks going to them might as well cut the “arms” off because they are worthless. I’m in the market for a different brand . Now the small arm cuffs will make your arms slap you in the face..

I bought this product to replace a ab stimulator belt and it does not work even close to the stimulator o bought before that also quit working after 3 months, I think it’s just crap Chinese stuff!

On the upside, there’s plenty of pads and modes, so you should be able to find a comfortable setting for a core workout.On the downside, the thing is smaller than expected and I couldn’t feel the oblique pads engaging, possibly because it doesn’t quite reach my obliques. If you’re a woman or smaller stature male, this might fit appropriately, but do not recommend for a mildly obese male. While the pads do work if you have belly hair, I wouldn’t expect the pads to last long unless you either shave or have a naturally hairless belly (i.e. female).I did return the thing already, so I can’t speak categorically to its durability, but it doesn’t look like it’d last very long. One of the middle pads stuck to the protective film, which I was able to reattach awkwardly to its corresponding spot, but I don’t know how many uses it’d actually last.

Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt was damaged and is not eligible for refund or replacement. It’s not put together well. It’s cheap and falls apart easily.

It just wasn’t what we thought, and all of the little stickies. It didn’t work well on my husband – maybe because he’s hairier than me? And then all of the AAA batteries needed. The little snaps don’t snap well and it just didn’t suit our needs.

It does not stick b at all I even reordered to make sure the second one didn’t stick either.

The ab stimulator I received dosen’t work half the time. I’ve replaced batteries, pads and only one side works half the time. Defective. How can I get a refund or a replacement?

Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt seems to be cheaply made. The controllers that are to adjust intensity do NOT fasten to the product well at all. It says clearly that it can cause shock if not done correctly. I had someone help me to ensure I was not making a mistake. I was not. This is a double thumbs down

No where to put batteries in 1/3 cause their is no spring. The other 2 lit up for about 10 seconds never did anything then went blank. Beyond disappointed

Where to start?!!! First only comes with 5 gel packs and need 6 to use it. Secondly the item was a gift to hubby and the abdominal unit and arm bands DOES NOT stay on body. I AM EMBARRASSED to say was a gift. Finally one of the battery packs that snap to give the pulsating sensation doesn’t line up correctly yo snap in too place ….which makes it pop out every few seconds. Maybe mines was a defective one?

I was reluctant at first that this could actually help me tone up the midesction but after using it for a month, I can already see the results. This stimulator is easy to use with multiple settings. At this price, should be a must have for those who want to tone up their abs.

The belly product worked fine out of the box. One of the three power packs digital feature was faulty out of the box. One of the arm units did not work at all. Been using the belly patch twice a day. Seems now to be losing effectiveness even with the fully charged battery and new contact pads. Had high hopes for this product.

Advertised as a visually durable material. Completely flimsy and does not stay in place for positive contact. Thin flimsy plastic material (no frame, supports or structure to the device) to hold the core simulator in place and in contact with skin. No strap provided, though the side lat straps have loops for attachments, not provided. (disappointed there)…. At least an elastic strap or velcro would have been more secure.Clean/shaved skin meant nothing to adhesion during use. Adhesive gel Separates from contact, multiple times during use. No structure contour or strap to hold down all points of contact for the pieces in place. 1 out of 10 for this product in my opinion.

Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt is cheaply assembled . Contact point burnt out on first use . The wide holes do not send a much current and then center cover tape is not centered.

I am a thin person looking to tone my abdomen, I’ve used this faithfully for about 2 weeks straight. . I place it on my lower belly and also on top my abs and I started noticing the change, I hope I can be constant and accompany this process with some diet.

My package arrived on time. I unboxed it and removed it. Next I charged the devices with the 3-in-1 USB Charging cable. I haven’t used the arm trainer portion just yet, but I did use the abs trainer for the first time and will continue to use it every day.

I was hesitant at first when I bought this item. I have been using it almost everyday. Still on level 3 max and in some modes only 2. It is very strong and I can feel my muscles tense and release when I use it. It is not a product you can put on and just expect Abs to form by using it. You do need to exercise and eat properly too. I even use it when I am doing crunches or leg lifts. I could feel the difference when I use it the next day compared to when I don’t. The arm pcs work just as well the only thing I dislike is they don’t stay on as well, I suggest maybe a velcro piece or strap closer to prevent them from peeling off the edges. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other wise a great product.

I purchased Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt for lower back pain and I have to tell you it times out at 12 minutes, and I don’t think I could keep it on longer than that without a break I highly recommend it.

Just received Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt, and am not impressed so far. We’ll see. Certainly not a value for its cost. It’s cheap and flimsy. The instructions are barely understandable due to poor translation. I’ll try it, but have a feeling the star rating will go down instead of up.

I bought Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt to increase my stomach muscles to help with lower back pain. I on just the lowest stimulation for the muscle workout is amazing. It actually works! I can feel my stomach muscles working and it is not painful or uncomfortable. I am excited since my lower back pain limits me from doing stomach exercises. So far, I am impressed.

It does really well at contracting muscles and giving a decent feeling ‘workout’. There are lots of options and multiple different settings to chose from.Only two issues I had were some of the settings seemed to not benefit from the increased levels on the upper tiers…settings 5-6 etc. They seemed to work better at lower settings of say 1-5 instead of 6-19.Also, be careful of sensitive skin. You may want to buy some hypoallergenic gel patches to use with these. But that can be expected I suppose.

Very good product and works: not sure if the sticky substance will last but I can see a difference in one week of use, twice a day for 20 mins.

It does take a while to charge but other than that it worked great for me and the charge lasts more than 30 hours!

I’m a middle age guy.. too busy to exercise and decided to buy this product. On the 1st try I had it for 5 minutes while working and I felt I did a 50 sit ups. I used to have a similar device 5 years ago but with 2 pads only and need to move the pads in another areas after each session. This one is very convenient and covers all areas I need to exercise. Definitely will recommend to my older brother.

I love this Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt!!? It works great! light weight not bulky easy to conceal while in use. This set came with arm stimulaters as well. Perfect for on the go . Product is well made light weight not bulky. I have used multiple times already and the gel pads are still super sticky very comfortable to wear. Let me begin by saying that when the items first arrived, I did try them right away, and one arm band, quit working after five minutes, and the next arm band quit working after one day. A replacement arrived within two days, and they functioned as described. I’ve been using it for a week now, and I can’t really notice any difference in my muscle tone, but I’ll continue using them and update when I notice a change. I use it three times on my days off and once on the days that I have to work, I prefer mode eight and use it between settings 3 to 5 for now. When I’m done, I noticed little red patches on my biceps, but it fades way in time.

One arm band only worked twice other than that the ads seem to work well. Have not had that long .

I ordered Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt with a healthy amount of skepticism. As (also) a former military special warfare veteran I believed hardcore training was still irraplacable, BUT, after a shoulder injury put me out of commission for several months, I needed an alternative. This product let me know within hours of the first use that it was a good idea. How?, you ask?, simple within several hours I felt the familiar pain of a good muscularly workout. Now 6 weeks later, I can see and FEEL the results.

I like the Lumina NRG Abs Toning Belt. I usually use it once to 2 times a day and boy, my abs are sore after. Gotta get back to beach bod and this abs tool will help me out.

Although my intention was to use this stimulator for muscle rehab and exercise, I’ve noticed that it slightly increased my metabolism when using the abdominal unit

Used product once and barely felt anything on the highest settings, it was more irritating than anything. Yes, it was fully charged. I have had tens machine more powerful than this. I took the useless product off, and the gel pads came off and was no longer usable. I don’t feel like buying multiple gel pads to use it two times a day, I can’t even imagine how much that would cost. Hopefully I can return it without any issues. Definitely recommend not buying it. I’m really not sure how it has a 4.5 rating.

This thing works like magic! Stop trying to lose weight and work hard and just put this on and see the transformation. Totally recommended!

Worked great only once for about a half hour. Drains batteries quickly, you can’t keep up replace them. At the second time power dramatically dropped, fresh batteries and new pads didn’t help. I can’t return because packing material has been discarded. I have a $40 trash.

Being familiar with Tens units and other ems devices, I was very dissatisfied with this product in general. The device had a total of 12 conductive pads and the smaller ones had two. The pads had next to no ability to adhere to the freshly cleansed and dry skin, and I had to wrap an ace wrap just to keep Device in place. I would have replaced the gel pads but the package didn’t even contain enough replacement pads to replace the main unit. After trying the unit, I was able to max it out completely on the highest setting and still felt little pulse and worse, some pads produced no effect at all. Out of the three pieces, only one seemed to work as intended, and it was even maxed out in order to achieve any noticeable effect. I am hoping that it was only defective but I purchased a low price unit. Not surprised and returned product the same night I first tried it. Will be looking for another product, but I am highly disappointed with this item at nearly every angle.

Nice packaging and very easy to use with the instruction book. During using you can feel you muscle is active and you will sweat a little bit.
